Zedmos Academy
Four credentials today, from an entry level to two specialist tracks, each with a published blueprint you can prepare against. Every exam is free to sit, and every credential carries a number anyone can verify, without an account.
The credential
Every credential is issued as this document: the holder, the designation, the credential number, the dates, and a struck seal. The number printed at the bottom right is what an employer enters to verify it — no account, no request to us.
ZCA-101 is the entry level: sixty items in ninety minutes on fundamentals, placement and how policy is evaluated. ZCP-201 is the working certification — eighty items in two hours on installation, policy design, inspection and operations — and it assumes hands-on time with a real appliance. Neither costs anything, and nor do the specialist tracks.
ZCS-SASE-301 covers overlay design and addressing, failover behaviour, remote user access and application routing. ZCS-MSP-302 covers running many customers from one console: tenancy and access scoping, policy templates and the drift they produce, entitlement and billing, and customer isolation. Both assume the Professional credential.
Each exam publishes its objectives and their weighting, and draws every paper from a bank five times the size of one sitting, so two candidates never sit the same questions. Seven items in ten test the subject itself and would be answerable by a competent engineer who has never used Zedmos; the rest test the product. Scoring happens on the server and the answer key never reaches the browser.
There are no courses, no hands-on labs and no practical exam. The Academy is an examination body: it publishes what each credential measures and tests it, and the preparation material is the technical documentation. Further specialist tracks and a practical level are intended, and are not announced with a date until they exist.
